About women empowerment.....

We have made hundreds of resolutions regarding women empowerment both individually as well as collectively by political people. Here we have to follow the policy of America because they respect women for whatever they are(not criminals), but here we disrespect for whatever they are not(like 'after all you are house-wife').Instead of resolutions, we have to include this idea in the curriculum because what we learn in the child-hood, will last for ever. Most of the virtues can be acquired by training not by mere saying. Parents should be role models to children in showing respect to the other person ignoring gender.First of all women should show respect to herself and the other woman.

ಕುರಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್.......

Recently we came across great minds of Mangalore who made several people gullible by luring them in money making scheme. Many educated and uneducated people lost their hard-earned money in the hope of getting double in ten months.I am not dared to say this but I too lost forty thousand rupees.Instead I could have saved it in fixed deposites.Mangalore once upon a time was famous for honest, clever and hard working people. When we were in Bangalore, people used to look at any Mangalorean with great regard obviously for the above traits. What happened to us? Is it greed or mere ignorance?

ಯಶಸ್ಸು

I came across a person who was climbing the ladder of success who suddenly met with an accident, which made him to sit on wheel-chair.On the day when he met his admirers with flowers in their hands to wish for his speedy recovery, many noticed that his eyes were sparkling with joy also filled with tears.I too was one among them.while returning I heard a whisper"he deserves this,he made so many people to cry while climbing each step." I gave a look at that person without uttering a single word.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಂದ್ರೆ

I got a link from my old aquaintance recently, who used to write in kannada. It is really a happy experience to go back to primary school, when we used to read panchatantra. They are relevent for ever, thanks to my friend to give me wonderful stories of panchatantra. People have come out with remixes nowadays, even old stories and poems are rewritten appealing to this generation. Any how some stories are like sipping bittergourd juice ( good for diabetics ) , some like relishing mysore-pak. Nice attempt Mr. Murthy, keep it up.
